Novel air conditioning integrates the technology of Indirect-Direct Evaporative Cooling (IDEC), Hydronic and direct Expansion (DX) to provide powerful and economical cooling solutions. The solution is comprised of a packaged air handling and a cooling tower unit which provides 100% fresh air and up to 80% energy saving.
In the first stage, Indirect, 100% fresh air is cooled sensibly by passing over a highly efficient fin & tube heat exchanger fed by the cooling tower. Then, the sensibly cooled air passes over a wetted pad where it cools down adiabatically, Direct evaporative cooling.
The system can also be supplemented with a DX or chilled water system to allow for more effective climatic control and performance where required. The total engineered unitary solution series by Novel ensures reliable performance, high efficiency and substantial energy savings.
CABINET
Unit casing constructed of double panel sheets equipped with service access panels for easy maintenance.
WATER RESERVOIR
Standard SS304 water reservoir to endure tough conditions. Two separate sections to allow for different sources of makeup water connections.
FILTERS
The supply air side is equipped with standard sand trap louvers and G4 filters.
BLOWER FAN
Electronically Commutated (EC) backward curved centrifugal blower with variable speed motor for maximum efficiency and ultra quiet operation.
AXIAL FAN
Statically & dynamically balanced plug fan with built-in thermal overload protection.
Submersible PUMP
Highly efficient and durable pump with stainless steel housing and shaft.
Heat exchanger
Extremely effective and efficient heat exchanger crafted from copper tube and hydrophilic coated aluminum fins and Galvanized steel case.
COOLING MEDIA
High grade cellulose media to achieve designed performance conditions with optimal evaporation loss.
